Covid-19 Safety & Protocols

I AM COMMITTED TO KEEPING OUR COMMUNITY AS SAFE AS POSSIBLE. READ BELOW TO LEARN MORE ABOUT THE HEALTH & SAFETY PROTOCOLS BEING IMPLEMENTED AND HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR SESSION.

Patient Screening

If you are experiencing any symptoms associated with Covid-19 or the flu, please contact me to reschedule your appointment. Your cancellation fee will be waived at this time. Anyone entering the office will be pre-screened with a questionnaire regarding symptoms & travel before your session. This will be emailed to you 24 hours before your session. Please be sure to fill this out before your session. Upon entering my office, your temperature will be taken using a forehead thermometer. Please wash your hands or use hand sanitizer upon entering the office. If your temperature is above 100 degrees, you will be required to reschedule your session. If you have traveled out of state or been in contact with someone with Covid-19, you will need to reschedule your session.

Covid-19 & Flu Symptoms may include:

  • Fever or chills

  • Cough

  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

  • Fatigue

  • Muscle or body aches

  • Headache

  • New loss of taste or smell

  • Sore throat

  • Congestion or runny nose

  • Nausea or vomiting

  • Diarrhea

Cleaning Methods

As a healthcare provider, I am trained in Clean Needle Technique, which requires extensive sanitation & cleaning protocols. With that being said, I am leaving additional space between patients to avoid any overlap between patients. Please show up on time, not early, to your session to avoid being in contact with another patient. At this time, please do not bring a guest with you to your session unless there is a medical necessity. In this case, please contact me for advanced approval.

All surfaces are being disinfected between sessions. This includes all surfaces that are touched by the patient or practitioner during your session. All disinfectants are EPA registered & approved disinfectants. Sheets & towels used for your session are changed between patients.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

At this time, masks are required to be worn for all patients during the entire length of your session. This mask does not need to be medical grade, but I recommend a mask with at least two layers. If you forget your mask or would like a medical grade mask, I will provide you with a disposable one for your session. Your must wear your mask while face down on the treatment table. I will be wearing a medical grade face mask at all times as well.

What I'm Doing

To ensure the health & safety of all of my patients, I am greatly limiting my interaction with others. You can rest assured that I am wearing a mask in public and limiting my social interactions. I am also receiving weekly Covid-19 PCR tests.
